This is not a government office or records custodian. We operate a private reference service. We cannot obtain or certify a record, confirm an address, or change an official roll. Send those requests to the office holding the record. For an emergency, call 911. If stalking or harassment is a concern, contact local law enforcement.
Routing a Record Request
Use the route that fits the Wade Hampton question:
- Property along a street: consult the Wade Hampton streets directory for the parcel and recorded-document trail.
- Historic directory volumes or former households: use the Wade Hampton city directory collection route.
- An identified person: use the Wade Hampton resident lookup method and confirm with the custodian.
- Office and portal routing: see the Wade Hampton records offices listing.
- A County record that is not online: make a reasonably described request to the responsible custodian under the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act.
